here i'm going to post what i want to accomplish in the month of january - hence the name january goals haha. i'm going to break it down into weekly mini goals as well as an overall big goal. now this is seperate from my list of other goals that i want. this is strictly for the month of january. what i'm hoping to have happen by the end of this month is making new habits stick and old habits kicked. i'm trading one for one in each week, and will continue on with that mini goal in following weeks, adding new goals onto it. we'll see how i do.
**disclaimer** just because i have one week as something doesn't mean that i'm not doing anything else. it just means that i'm focusing more on that particular goal, trying to eradicate it from my list of bad habits by replacing it with a positive habit. example - while focusing on not drinking, i will also be eating on plan and exercising, but the main goal is to stop drinking because that has longer and more dire effects on my health.
so here's my ultimate goal for january - reaching 299 - a milestone for me
i haven't been under 300 in about 2 years now. i want this so bad. i've had this as my goal since halloween of 09 and i keep getting within 10 lbs of it but then i always taper off and gain my weight back.
here's my small weekly goals for january
week one jan 4-10: no drinking alcohol
week two jan 11-17: drink nothing but water/milk on the occasion
week three jan 18-24: exercise at least 4 days this week
week four jan 25-31: eat on plan at least 4 days this week
**just a side note** my birthday is jan 27 and i'm turning 27. it's my golden birthday and means a lot to me. the next day (the 28th) i have an appointment with my ob/gyn for the first time. we're trying to get preggers. after that visit - alcohol is off limits for good because it's not okay for me to drink while trying to concieve. therefore i'm allowing myself to drink on my birthday as long as it fits into my calorie alotment for the day.
